A treat to stay on a Georgian terrace in an elevated position in Bath – one of the most stunning cities in Europe. And you're a ten-minute stroll from bistros, boutiques, the new Spa and England's most beautiful playhouse, the Theatre Royal. What you have here is a ground-floor apartment in a five-storey, Grade I-listed house from which views sweep down to the city. It's a very peaceful, very private retreat, and comes with its own charming, walled and landscaped terrace garden that catches the afternoon sun. Inside are high ceilings and huge sash windows, white leather sofas and pocket-sprung beds, fluffy towels and a flat-screen TV. Two sun-lit bedrooms lie at the front, with lovely long views, the drawing room, light and large, is at the back and the (internal) bathroom is tiled in white. The compact kitchen is sleek and stylish, with a Bosch fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, food blender and coffee maker – cooks will be happy. You can also spill outside for summer meals: there's a barbecue in the garden shed. In short, everything's here that a small group would need for a very comfortable city stay – plus the bonus of a parking permit, priceless in Bath! A super apartment at a fair price.
